Emily McCarthy for Taylor Burke Home

I’m back from a very successful time at AmericasMart in Atlanta! The January show brought many new opportunities and the most exciting is my newest collaboration with Taylor Burke Home! I’ll be designing pieces of furniture for the new Entertaining Essentials Collection. These pieces will be centered around entertaining and hopefully bringing some vintage elements back to life again! Julianne with TBH could not have brought my design to life any better – it’s truly stunning in person and I’m so thankful to have found this perfect partnership!

Above you can see my sketch and below you can see me with the final piece! We are making a couple of tweaks like turning the front laser-cut panel into a door so you can store short glassware and linens on the shelf. Inside holds the perfect shelf for bottles and additional glassware! The bar cart is made of brass and just sparkles in person. The doors are customizable and any color can be chosen! We completed the look with vintage-inspired hardware which our manufacturer was able to recreate stunningly.

All of TBH’s products are made in the USA and very custom for their clients – truly beautiful work! Their design studio is located in Charleston, South Carolina.
